- Missouri Research Park, in St. Charles County, is owned and managed by the University of Missouri System. Officially opened in 1985, the Park now has more than 130 acres developed for high-tech and research facilities and houses 17 tenant companies that employ more than 2,000 people.
- The University of Missouri Technology Park at Fort Leonard Wood is located on an active Army post. The Tech Park collaborates with the University of Missouri on technology transfer and is focused on biochemical, homeland security and GIS projects.
- The MRP Business Center is a high profile and secure office environment at the Technology Park, providing furnished, staffed and technology-equipped office space and team rooms.
- The Center of Research, Technology, and Entrepreneurial Exchange (CORTEX) in mid-town St. Louis is intended to house companies graduating from the incubator and companies attracted to the region because of the proximity to the research institutions.
- The Midwest Research Institute (MRI)'s research farm is near Butler, Missouri. The new facility serves as an extension of MRI's field station in Grandview, Missouri and supports expansion in the research of new technologies in crops, farming practices, agriculture products and the growing interest in improved nutrition and natural products.
- Discovery Ridge in Columbia, Missouri, will focus on leveraging the University of Missouri's resources in life sciences, in the areas of agriculture, health, veterinary medicine, bioengineering, nutrition, biology and environmental services.
- Currently under development in the St. Louis region is the Bio-Research and Development Growth Park adjacent to the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center

Discovery Ridge: ‘Where science goes to work'
A joint project between the University of Missouri Office of Research and Economic Development and the University of Missouri-Columbia, Discovery Ridge is the newest research park in Missouri.
